Part C · Visual identity

Colour

The system keeps the exact brand values from the logo and assigns each a job. Interfaces are roughly 80% neutral surface, 15% navy structure, no more than 4% orange, and green only when something has genuinely succeeded. If orange is everywhere, nothing is urgent.

The brand trio and their roles

Navy scale · structural colour

The brand navy sits at step 700. Steps 900 to 950 create the Night surfaces; 50 to 100 create quiet tinted fills on Day surfaces.

Orange scale · action colour

Brand orange at step 500 drives buttons and highlights. Step 700 is the text-safe orange for links, kickers and all small text on light backgrounds (6.1:1 on white, 5.9:1 on the mist-25 page surface).

Mist neutrals · the working surface

Greys tinted 2 to 3% toward the navy hue so surfaces feel related to the brand rather than borrowed from a framework.

Semantic colours

Why success is brand green:giving the third logo colour the “confirmed, done, secure” role means it still appears in the product with meaning, without competing as decoration. Warning amber is kept dull and rare so it never reads as brand orange; the two must never sit side by side without labels. Success text, icons and large numerals all use the defined success green #008E44.

Print values

CMYK conversions below are the working values for digital print. Triway Studios chooses Pantone matches on a physical proof and records them in this guide; do not guess spot colours from screen.

Print proportions mirror screen: paper and mist neutrals carry roughly 80% of any layout, navy 15%, orange under 4%, green only in the logo or a genuine success mark. Uncoated stock lifts orange saturation; proof before committing a run.

The two surface themes

The site runs on two surfaces built from the same tokens, and the default is decided: Day(mist-25 base) is the default everywhere, heroes included. It is the logo’s natural home (10.6:1 for the navy triangle versus 1.8:1 on navy-950), it reads as institutional authority rather than the dark-with-glow costume of the AI startup crowd, and it carries long-form content best. Night (navy-950 base) is reserved for two jobs: the pre-footer CTA close on every page, and campaign surfaces on the immersive tier (launches, events, the Strata experience). Day is the constitution; Night is the occasion.

Do
  • Keep orange under roughly 4% of any screen; it marks the next action
  • Use navy-50/100 tints for icon chips and quiet fills on Day
  • Use orange-700 for links, kickers and all small orange text on light surfaces
  • Let large areas breathe as plain mist or navy; emptiness is premium
Don’t
  • Introduce any hue outside this sheet (no framework blues, purples, pinks)
  • Use green for decoration, icons or charts; it means success only
  • Set brand orange #F26521 as small text on white (3.2:1, fails AA)
  • Build multi-colour gradients; see the gradient policy in Pattern language
