Writing style
Mechanics that apply to every word the company publishes, internal or external.
| Rule | Standard |
|---|---|
| Spelling | British English: colour, optimise, organisation, programme (initiatives), program (software). |
| Case | Sentence case everywhere: headings, buttons, slide titles, subject lines. |
| Punctuation | Em dashes are banned in all Triway writing. Use commas, full stops, semicolons, or restructure. Oxford comma optional but consistent within a document. |
| Numbers | Spell out one to nine in prose; numerals for 10+, all data, and all money. Marketing may spell signature numbers ("ninety days"). |
| Dates & time | 2 July 2026. 24-hour clock with zone: 14:00 GST. Never MM/DD. |
| Currency | AED 50,000 style; add ISO codes when mixing currencies. |
| Contractions | Fine in social and web copy; avoid in contracts and formal proposals. |

| Interlock · Strata · Convergence · Survey · Delta Index | Capitalised motif names. Interlock is exempt as the public name of the design system; the other four stay in design contexts and are defined in Pattern language & motif library. |

| GCC · UAE · KSA | No full stops. Spell out Kingdom of Saudi Arabia only in formal or legal documents. |
