Writing style

Mechanics that apply to every word the company publishes, internal or external.

RuleStandard
SpellingBritish English: colour, optimise, organisation, programme (initiatives), program (software).
CaseSentence case everywhere: headings, buttons, slide titles, subject lines.
PunctuationEm dashes are banned in all Triway writing. Use commas, full stops, semicolons, or restructure. Oxford comma optional but consistent within a document.
NumbersSpell out one to nine in prose; numerals for 10+, all data, and all money. Marketing may spell signature numbers ("ninety days").
Dates & time2 July 2026. 24-hour clock with zone: 14:00 GST. Never MM/DD.
CurrencyAED 50,000 style; add ISO codes when mixing currencies.
ContractionsFine in social and web copy; avoid in contracts and formal proposals.
